Conversion rate revenue uplift
Calculator.
We compare revenue at two conversion rates with traffic held fixed.
Your assumptions
Illustrative defaults only, never Further or client figures. Currency is AUD, excluding GST. Enter 20 for 20%. Optional fields can stay blank or zero. Your inputs stay on this page.
Scenario result
Revenue change
A$25,000.00
- Baseline orders
- 1,000
- Scenario orders
- 1,250
- Incremental contribution
- A$10,000.00
- CVR percentage-point change
- 0.5 pp
A$25,000 of revenue change from 0.5 points of conversion rate, and A$10,000 of it lands as contribution. Conversion work costs nothing in media, so this is the same traffic doing more, which also lifts what you can afford to pay for the next customer.
The maths
Baseline orders = 50,000 × 2% = 1,000. Scenario orders = 50,000 × 2.5% = 1,250.
Revenue change = (1,250 - 1,000) × 100 = 25,000 AUD. Contribution change = 25,000 × 40%.
Percentage-point change = 2.5 - 2. Relative CVR change = (2.5 - 2) / 2 × 100 = 25%.
Before you use it
Traffic volume, traffic mix and AOV stay fixed. Fractional orders are expected values. Contribution excludes any extra fixed costs and the cost of the conversion work.
This is a planning scenario, not a forecast or financial advice. Compare it with your actual order and customer records before changing spend.
Questions worth asking
What stays fixed in this scenario?
Sessions and AOV stay unchanged. If conversion changes because the audience or basket changes, this comparison may overstate or understate the revenue difference.
How do percentage points differ from relative uplift?
Moving from 2% to 2.5% adds 0.5 percentage points and is a 25% relative increase. Relative uplift is N/A when the baseline rate is zero.
